Alpacas for Sale – Autumn & Winter 2026

Each autumn and winter, we begin preparing a small number of alpacas that will become available from Little Valley Farm Alpacas.

Located in Laguna in the beautiful Wollombi Valley, our boutique herd is raised on our working farm in the Hunter Valley.

Most of the alpacas we offer are friendly wethers or small groups suited to lifestyle properties, hobby farms and families wanting alpacas as companion animals or paddock pets.

Our alpacas are handled regularly, shorn annually, vaccinated and well accustomed to people through our farm workshops.

Because we run a small herd, only a limited number of alpacas become available each year.

If you’re thinking about keeping alpacas on a small acreage in NSW, the Hunter Valley, Central Coast or greater Sydney region, autumn and winter is typically when we begin discussing upcoming availability.

You’re always welcome to contact us or attend one of our alpaca workshops to learn more about keeping alpacas before purchasing. Contact Daniela for more info.

Alpaca Workshops in Australia

If you are searching for an alpaca workshop in Australia, our hands-on training sessions at Little Valley Farm Alpacas are designed specifically for new and prospective alpaca owners.

Located in Laguna in the beautiful Wollombi Valley, our workshops are easily accessible from Sydney, the Central Coast, and across the Hunter Valley.

Each workshop is run on a working alpaca farm and focuses on practical alpaca management for small farms and hobby farmers in Australia.

Because we keep our workshops one-on-one or in very small groups, participants have the opportunity to ask questions, handle alpacas and learn the real day-to-day skills involved in farming alpacas. Workshop info here.
